Antique maps indicate uncountable loss, and it also reveals a self-involving spirit of map-making. Nowadays, we make accurate maps with scientific methods, but the spirit cannot be found anymore. Tai Po is my hometown. In order to regain the lost beauty of it, I made some personal maps, which are similar to antique maps. Map is a format allowing me to retell stories within certain durations, relationships and geographical locations in an organized way.
